The Plumbing Technician will apply their technical skills and knowledge in performing diagnostic, maintenance and service of plumbing in residential environments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes.
Total Compensation Range:
$70,000.00 - 140,000.00 annually, including base pay (hourly) and commission, depending on experience and performance. Why Work With Us? Repair, replace, and service plumbing fixtures, plumbing systems, faucets, toilets, water heaters, water lines, gas lines, sinks, showers, bathtubs, sump pumps, expansion tanks, re-circulating pumps, garbage disposals, dishwashers, ice maker lines and water purification systems in accordance with plumbing code specifications Trouble-shoots a broad range of residential plumbing problems including those that may be concealed behind walls, in ceilings, attics, crawl spaces and underground Accurately prepares written estimates and calculates cost for proposed work Utilizes 6', 12' and 20' ladders to access job site roofs and on-site overhead warehouse shelving Performs drain-cleaning services for sewer lines, kitchen and laundry lines, toilets, bathtubs/showers, sinks, and storm drains Research and order parts for customer jobs; refers customers to outside vendors (i.e., water restoration and septic pumping services) when appropriate Routinely keeps track of parts and supplies used on customer jobs and re-stocks inventory on service vehicles Meet specific goals geared towards expanding their knowledge in customer service and the plumbing industry May be required to work overtime Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the businessWhat We're Looking For:
GED or High School Diploma 2+ years of experience in the plumbing industry Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Ability to work in a fast paced and results driven environment Ability to work under stressful conditions and may be exposed to verbal and/or physical confrontations Ability to work extended hours, nights or weekends Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlOther Job Posting Details
