Job Overview:

As an A/C Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation of air conditioning systems primarily in school buses and commercial shuttle buses. Components typically include compressors, condensers, evaporators, mounts, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install A/C components accurately and efficiently Work independently or collaboratively in a shop environment Maintain a strong focus on safety Ensure proper care of company-owned tools, equipment, and facilities Communicate effectively with the Location Manager, office staff, and fellow team members Complete projects in a timely and high-quality manner Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in automotive or mechanical fields (minimum 2 years preferred) Proficient with hand tools and adherence to safety standards Ability to manage physical workload Strong teamwork and multitasking skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must provide your own tools Good verbal and written communication Smartphone required Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (required); technical school training is a plus Knowledge of mobile A/C systems EPA 609 Certification (a plus) Prior experience as a mechanic or technician is highly desirable Why Join Us?
