We are currently looking for an experienced dealership technician to join our growing team and help us continue delivering expert automotive care.
Job Overview:
As an Experienced Dealership Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles are operating safely and efficiently while upholding our dealership's reputation for excellence. You will work closely with our service team to handle a wide range of service and repair tasks, with opportunities for career growth and development.
PAY BASED ON SKILL AND EXPERIENCE!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models. Diagnose problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. Complete repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and offer solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety procedures are followed. Keep accurate records of all services, repairs, and diagnostics performed. Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and manufacturer bulletins. Assist with mentoring and training less experienced technicians.
Qualifications:
Minimum of [3] years of experience as a dealership technician, automotive technician, or equivalent. ASE certification (or equivalent) preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred. Proficient with diagnostic equipment, tools, and automotive systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific makes/models (e.g., Mazda, Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc.). Manufacturer-specific certifications or training. Knowledge of dealership software and diagnostic tools.
