Full Charge Bookkeeper Residential Properties Management, INC. 1105 Brookstown Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 We are a property management company looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who will take overall responsibility for maintaining accurate financial records for several affordable housing apartment complexes in North Carolina Key responsibilities of a full-charge bookkeeper: Accounts payable/receivable management: Pay accounts payable invoices.. Enters management reimbursement invoices. Oversee the accounts payable activity.
Bank reconciliations:
Matching bank statements to the company's accounting records to ensure accuracy. This is done in the accounting software Financial statement preparation: Generating income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using Real Page Software General ledger maintenance: Maintaining the general ledger by posting transactions and reconciling accounts. Enter accruals and amortizations monthly Month-end closing: Performing necessary accounting procedures to close out the month, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and generating reports.
Compliance management:
Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (GAAP) and relevant regulations Skills and qualifications for a full charge bookkeeper: Requiring a High School diploma and an associate's degree in accounting is a plus
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping for small business
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with accounting software -Real Page a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and other departments
