• Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare professionals
• Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
• Update and maintain scheduling software or systems
• Collaborate with other staff members to optimize scheduling processes
• Handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times ```Requirements```
• Previous experience in a scheduling role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
• Proficiency in using scheduling software or systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of administrative tasks and office procedures
