Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated leader to support our Mechanical Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and skills and a deep understanding of production management principles including scheduling, material sourcing, problem solving, and superior communication. This role would provide the opportunity to build and adapt new processes that increase the efficiency and profitability of our team and company.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional attitude with employee, sub-contractor, and customer interaction Build customer rapport Contribute to proper file documentation and consistent communication with clients - schedules, job updates and notes, signed selection sheets, signed COS for every job Manage the production schedule for each specific project. Schedule, audit, and approve timecards for the mechanical field teams. Review mechanical job profitability for costing accuracy. Ensure that all job information is entered correctly in our company CRM. Schedule and follow-up on subcontractors as needed if utilized during a mechanical project. Provide specific project support to field plumbing team, and Project Managers as needed - pulling allowances, filing for permits, ordering products, etc. Order supplies, materials, and fixtures for mechanical projects Willing to assist Project Managers and clients with product selections within their allowances Contribute to, follow, and promote company policy Support Human Resources with safety reporting and follow-up of mechanical teams. Coordinate vehicle maintenance for the construction teams vehicle fleet Communicate change orders and supplements to Project Managers and Estimators. Administratively complete mechanical quotes and billings with Master Plumber Follow-up for mechanical only projects payments and contracts.

Education, Experience and Other Skills:
General understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems. Preferably 2-3yrs of working for a service or construction trade based company. High School diploma or GED Dependable and reliable on a consistent basis Must have experience with Microsoft office Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels in the company Thorough knowledge of office procedures and practices and the use of office machines and equipment Strong attention to detail Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner Strives to demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of Ungerman in a language appropriate to each audience. Has a can-do and self-starter attitude, a team player mentality and the ability to work independently Growth oriented with a drive to continue to learning and developing. Pro-active problem solver, will make suggestions for improvement in processes and operations within Ungerman.
