MedHealth Financial is an expanding Anesthesia Billing company, located in Woodbridge, New Jersey that focuses on delivering an extraordinary level of service!

Summary:

Our ideal candidate will assist our VP of IT in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems critical to our healthcare services. This role requires a proactive professional with knowledge in Active Directory, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco switches, VMware, Microsoft 365, and preferably healthcare EMR systems, including Epic .

Key responsibilities will include:

IT Infrastructure Administration:

Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and directory structures. Configure, monitor, and oversee Fortinet firewalls and Cisco ASA firewalls for network security. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco switches to ensure optimal network performance.

Virtualization & Cloud Services:

Maintain and manage VMware environments, ensuring high availability and system performance. Administer Microsoft 365 services, including email, collaboration tools, and security configurations.

Support & Help Desk:

Provide Tier 2/3 support for help desk escalations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues. Train and support end-users with IT-related challenges, including hardware, software, and system access.

Healthcare IT Systems:

Support and maintain healthcare practice managements system, including Epic access, ensuring optimal performance and integration. Collaborate with clients and administrative teams to address IT needs specific to healthcare and revenue cycle management operations.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure IT systems adhere to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, maintaining patient data confidentiality and security. Perform regular security audits and updates for firewalls, networks, and user access controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in an IT environment. Proficiency in overseeing Active Directory, Fortinet firewalls, and Cisco ASA firewalls. Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and VMware virtualization. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Highly Desired Knowledge of healthcare EMR and practice management systems, with experience in Epic most desired. Experience in the healthcare industry and understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA). Any of the following certifications - A+, Network+, Security +, CCNA What We Offer!
