Police Officer City of Meadows Place Meadows Place, TX
MEADOWS PLACE POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICE OFFICER - FULL TIME
•Accepting applications until position is filled.
Compensation:
Starting salary is $ 65,000 annually with additional pay for Intermediate, Advanced, Master Peace Officer and Instructor certifications. Excellent city benefits including medical/dental, TMRS retirement 7% with 2:1 matching, uniforms and leather gear provided. Position includes longevity pay, paid vacation, sick time, and 10 paid Holidays. The City also offers voluntary benefits for ICMA 457B and AFLAC.
Job Description:
Performs a variety of duties in the enforcement of laws, the protection of persons and property and the prevention of crimes; performs specialized police work for assigned area of responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must be 21 years of age, must meet all TCOLE requirements, high school diploma or GED, some college preferred, honorable discharge if past military experience, good credit, good moral character, clean driving history and willing to work any shift including weekends and holidays. Qualified applicants will undergo an extensive background check, physical, drug screen, psychological examination, polygraph, written examination and a review board.
