The Rite of Passage Team is hiring a LVN/LPN at The Oaks Academy in Brownwood, Texas ✨ The Oaks Academy is a secure post-adjudication facility located in Brownwood, Texas that provides comprehensive services to young men (13-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.To be considered you should:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent current LVN/LPN licensure in the state of Texas is required Be at least 21 years of age Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry meet the requirements to be an eligible driver, including having an activeDriver's License Schedule:
