IT Specialist - Imaging Systems (Osirix MD specialist)

Pembroke Pines, FL 33023 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks, will manage and optimize our New Pac system, including our old OsiriX MD system, ensuring seamless data transfers and interface integrations. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and IT support processes. The IT Technician will troubleshoot issues, maintain network security, and assist users with various technical challenges.

Duties :

Manage and optimize our new Pac system and OsiriX MD for efficient image viewing and processing. Develop and maintain system interfaces for smooth integration with PACS and other medical imaging platforms. Oversee data transfer protocols, ensuring security, speed, and accuracy in handling medical imaging files. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to OsiriX MD, data management, and system performance. Collaborate with radiologists, technicians, and IT teams to enhance workflow efficiency. Provide comprehensive IT support to staff and users, promptly addressing hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems. Monitor and manage network security measures, including firewalls and VPN connections. Troubleshoot operating system problems across various platforms. Assist in setting up and maintaining Local Area Networks (LAN) to ensure connectivity. Conduct regular maintenance checks on office equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience Experience with different Pac Systems, including OsiriX MD and DICOM image processing. Strong knowledge of interface development and data transfer protocols Familiarity with PACS, HL7, and medical imaging software. Proficiency in MacOS and network configurations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Proven experience in desktop support or IT support roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
