years HVAC Full Job Description Summary The Energy Management Technician (EMT) will interface with customers and contractors to install and service our Energy Management System. This includes project start‐up, commissioning, service (routine or emergency) and preventative maintenance. We are currently seeking someone with previous BAS experience including Andover Controls and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure based products. Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and must be able to work other shifts as necessary. Job Duties Startup and commissioning of complete Energy Management Systems. Works to ensure projects are completed on time, per applicable codes and standards. Performs a point-to-point checkout per standard procedures. Performs software/hardware calibration required for proper equipment and system operation. Completes project commissioning documentation. Supports other facilities functions as needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Two-year technical degree or 4 years industry related technical field experience including HVAC Systems, DDC Systems, software and device calibration. Knowledgeable in DDC applications pertaining to HVAC and laboratory operations. Ability to work in hard hat areas, climb stairs and ladders, maneuver in and around pipework and air ducts, work safely near exposed line voltage and low voltage wiring and terminations.
