Electrical Apprentice 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Conroe, TX 77303 Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks and learning the fundamentals of electrical systems. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand electrical layouts and specifications. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work. Support the team in low voltage installations, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with senior electricians to learn best practices in wiring, circuit installation, and system troubleshooting. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a relevant technical program is a plus. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction site protocols is advantageous. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians. Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
