Job Description:
We are looking for an organized, detailed oriented individual with strong work ethic for a newly open on-site Payroll and HR position in Irvine. This role will primarily be processing bi-weekly payroll, 401K, and Insurance benefits. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining HR compliance, on-boarding new employees. Training will be provided.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of payroll and human resources support experience. Computer skills, data entry skills and Internet research skills are required. This is an excellent position for a detailed-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated individual who can multi-task, take on additional projects and work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing sales, customer service and operations environment. Processing payroll in Paychex along with calculating bonus and commission pay. Completing and filing all employee paperwork including. Placing ads for new hires. New hire onboard and termination processing. Data Entry for payroll and benefits. Maintaining and tracking licenses for the company and employees. Understanding workplace and payroll compliance. Processing unemployment and family leave claims from EDD. Additional job responsibilities may include but are not limited to assisting manager's overflow of work, including word processing, data entry, filing and sorting, and Internet research tasks. Required Skills and Experience Handles multi-positioned telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing and inner-office calls, and performs other tasks related to communication. High school diploma or equivalent to 2 years payroll/HR experience. Excellent customer service and listening skills. Works well in a team environment; demonstrates willingness to follow instructions, abide by company policies and is always respectful and professional. Knowledge and experience with computer and software skills that includes Intermediate/Advanced and Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Proficient at task prioritization, Multi-Tasker, and balancing several competing interests and goals simultaneously Flexible, innovative, creative, reliable, dependable and motivated Attention to detail, accuracy, accountability and confidentiality crucial.
