Computer Specialist
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
DSS has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user's business needs and DSS' workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS. Tasks & Duties
  • Conduct and Implement Testing of Devices
  • Develop test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure that sufficient resources are planned for and supplied for any project.
  • Participate in meetings as a technical advisor with vendors, customers and management to provide feedback for problem resolution and to determine appropriate course(s) of action.
  • Manage peripherals and technical requirements. Provide management reporting and information dissemination.
  • Manage and enroll Smart Phones, Tablets and Laptops using the Mobile Device (MDM) console.
  • Order, setup, track and troubleshoot mobile iOS (Apple), Android devices and Windows devices.
  • Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.
  • Provide day-to-day support of our phone systems and mobile devices.

$80,683.00 - $100,000.00 per year
