Efficiently and accurately perform quality automotive repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealership's and factory standards. Perform and document vehicle diagnostics using the latest industry technologies. Maintain an organized and neat shop area. Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair work was completed. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate directly with service advisors regarding repair estimates and status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology. Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.Superior Ford Automotive Technician Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a journeyman technician in dealership service department setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver license and a clean driving record. Own your own tools and tool box Current Ford "Stars" technical training certifications or ASE equivalents will be required to be considered for this position. Excellent customer service skills.
