The Equipment Maintenance Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week. Equipment Maintenance Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $34.10 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Equipment Maintenance Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform routine setup, operation, and preventive and corrective maintenance on complex and automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machinery Monitor production lines and proactively address performance issues Ensure compliance with safety and quality documentation standards Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams for continuous improvement and problem-solving Conduct root-cause analysis for equipment failures or process issues Support installation, debugging, and startup of new or modified equipment Provide input on maintenance task lists and PM frequency Use various tools and test equipment (including multimeters, gauges, schematics, etc.) to diagnose and fix issues Accurately complete maintenance and quality documentation Equipment Maintenance Technician Requirements High School Diploma or GED One of the following: Certificate with 2 years of relevant experience High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience Relevant fields include: Electrical/Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician, Machine Builder, Machinist, Refrigeration Mechanic, Welding Repairer Must be safety-conscious and experienced with: Hydraulics Pneumatic cylinders and flow control Sensor technologies Temperature controllers Controls, sensors, vacuum systems, motors Servo motor systems Electronics Basic math Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Equipment Maintenance Technician Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems (PLC, ladder/relay logic, VFDs, servos) Familiarity with robotics and vision systems Knowledge of mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) Experience with SAP maintenance or similar CMMS Basic machining, lathe, mill, welding, bearing press Ability to read schematics and blueprints Electrical troubleshooting (low-level signals to 480 VAC) Proficient in MS Excel and Word If you think this Equipment Maintenance Technician position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
