Industrial Electrician II in EASTON , Maryland

JOB OBJECTIVE

To maintain electrical equipment at Power Plants, Substations, Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wells, Solar Arrays, and other Easton Utilities Commission (EUC) facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Hiring range $27.60/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications. Total of three (3) to five (5) years related electrical experience. Must have a thorough working knowledge of electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must be familiar with the NEC, NESC, NETA, and

NFPA 70 E

standards. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must have a good working knowledge of basic electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics. Must know how to use electrical tools such as digital multimeters, and power supplies. Must be available as needed to provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies. Must be able to work from heights such as ladders, towers, and other structures. Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job. Must be familiar with the NESC and standards. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be part of an on-call rotation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess certification in electrical technology, or have three years of related electrical experience.
