Our clients are some of the biggest motorsport teams and brands in the world, for which we assist in designing and fabricating race transporters. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE
Electrical Technicians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for client transporters. This position involves multiple electrical disciplines including residential, commercial, vehicle, motor controls, generators, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, audio/video systems, and HVAC controls. A background in factory automation and machine design is highly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements electrical systems for large working structures. Plans and implements work and parts procurement to provide materials needed for new builds. Assists shop members in troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems including building and machines. Electrical repairs on service jobs. Evaluate and perform quality checks on finished products. Accurately logs job and time information. Maintains a good work attitude and cooperates with managers and fellow teammates in a positive spirit of teamwork.
TOP SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems. Experience installing Smart Automation or similar components/systems. Experience creating wire harnesses. Understanding of relay logic, motor controls, forward/reversing circuits, and HVAC electrical systems and controls. Ability to install 110V and 12V light power systems. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under stress and maintain tight deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in shop settings. Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to work in confined spaces, off ladders, and moderate heights.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent completion. Experience with 480 A/C down to 12V DC. College coursework, technical training or certifications in electrical, PLC, HVAC or related experience highly preferred. This list of duties and responsibilities is not comprehensive and may change at any time.
