Responsibilities Provide detailed in-process inspections on spacecraft & engine hardware (electrical, mechanical, propulsion) assemblies, using detailed drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements Work alongside CMM programmers, performing final inspection Identify, document, and resolve production and test anomalies in accordance with prescribed procedures and pursue corrective action as required Communicate and help resolve quality related issues as they relate to the specific engineering departments Document production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as required Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency certificate 4+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, aviation, military or manufacturing environment Preferred Skills and Experience 6+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience with spaceflight hardware 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with metrology or CMM hardware Experience with quality assurance principles, methods, and processes Demonstrated experience working with electrical, mechanical, structural, or propulsion assemblies Experience with performing electronic testing and inspections using portable measuring devices Strong understanding of safety programs and OSHA regulations and requirements Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
